Not at all. Dubai Founders HQ Entrepreneur Academy welcomes founders from all professional backgrounds, including business, operations, finance, design, and beyond. You can build a product or a business here with no technical knowledge required: if you have an entrepreneurial mindset, you belong here.

I currently run a traditional small business. Is the Entrepreneur Academy still relevant for me?

Absolutely. Many participants are experienced operators, business owners, or industry professionals looking to build something new or take their existing knowledge in a startup direction. Your business experience is an asset, not a barrier.

What is the timeline of the Entrepreneur Academy programme?

The programme runs for six weeks, from 7 September to 16 October 2026. Sessions take place every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at Dubai Founders HQ or online. The application deadline is 24 August 2026, followed by a review and interview process through August, and an onboarding period before the programme starts in September.

How much time do I need to commit each week?

Core sessions will run each Monday, Wednesday and Friday with flexible timing. Factoring in coaching sessions each week, plus time to work on your own venture, we would suggest you plan for roughly 10 to 12 hours per week in total.

Is the Entrepreneur Academy in-person or online?

Accepted Answer

Dubai Founders HQ Entrepreneur Academy is a hybrid programme; core sessions will be held in-person at the Dubai Founders HQ Campus, with virtual participation available for select sessions. In-person attendance is strongly encouraged for the full experience, including coaching, networking, and peer collaboration.

What do I actually walk away with at the end of the Entrepreneur Academy programme?

Whether or not you continue your entrepreneurial journey after the programme, you will have built and launched a real AI-powered tech product, with no coding skills required.

Is there a fee to join the Entrepreneur Academy?

Dubai Founders HQ Entrepreneur Academy is free of charge, and does not require any equity stake.

Can I apply as a team or do I need to apply as an individual?

Both are welcome. You can apply solo or as a co-founding team. If you apply individually, DFHQ Entrepreneur Academy is also a great environment to meet potential collaborators.

I am not based in Dubai yet. Can I still apply?

Accepted Answer

This programme is designed for Dubai residents. You may apply if you are planning to relocate to Dubai before the programme begins in September 2026. Please indicate this in your application and it will be factored into the review.

What happens after Dubai Founders HQ Entrepreneur Academy ends?

Accepted Answer

Completion is not the finish line: participants who finish the programme will get the chance to join the DFHQ founder community with access to workspace, events, and the ecosystem network.
